Performance Ball 2008
Don't miss out on the FUN as all our brave dancers take the stage and perform for their fellow dancers, friends and family. Join us at the enormous and spectacular Collingwood Town Hall and enjoy what will be a performance night primarily (with some social dancing). The focus of the evening is really just appreciating, applauding and cheering on all of your dancing friends as they take to the floor!
Swing dancers from classes at North Melbourne, South Melbourne, Bentleigh, Ringwood, Brunswick, Camberwell, Berwick, Kew, Melbourne Uni, Monash Uni, Northcote, Glen Waverly, Geelong, Richmond (Bal Pit), CBD and Frankston will all be performing. In addition, Showgirls and Swing Kids will also perform on the night!

YES... Afterwards head to Forever Dance (432 Church ST, Richmond) and enjoy dancing to the hottest SWING TUNES from our all fabulous DJ TEAM!! Doors open at 12 midnight and close at 3am... Cost is $8 or $4 with a stamp from the Performance Ball.
Can we BYO drinks?
NO... It's strictly NO BYO! My Shout are in attendance to cater for your eating and drinking needs during the evening.
I’m not a dancer… Can I still come along?
Yes... Come support all the nervous dancers as they put on their best performance smiles!!
What do I need to wear?
What you wear on the night is totally up to you... Most venues will have a 'costume' if you are performing... So make sure to listen to your teachers about what you need to wear on the night.
Will there be lots of room to sit down?
There will be seating but it will be limited... We are planning to have 200 seats on the lower level and 300 seats will be available in the upper balcony. There is no reserved seating and its simply a case of first in... first seated!
Will there be food and drink available?
Yes... My Shout will be in attendance serving small snacks and drinks all evening. In respect of our caterers, please please please do not BYO any drinks or nibbles for the Performance Ball.
