Swing Patrol has four performance troupes, Harlem Shout and Brat Pack (Swing), The Foxy Follies (cabaret) and Tap Pack (Tap dance).
This is Swing Patrol's premier swing dance team, performing for corporate crowds, events, festivals and gigs all around town. With routines ranging from 1920's charleston, to big band swing and even some Elvis style rock and roll, we can add flavour and energy to your next themed event.
Our swing dance team, Bratpack are a developmental troupe, pushing the boundaries of their knowledge in performance swing dance. You will see Bratpack performing around Melbourne at public events wowing the crowds with their energy and dynamic, cheeky style.
The Foxy Follies are 16 amazing dancers, building a repertoire of exciting routines ranging from "Mickey" (Toni Basil), "Vogue" (Madonna) "The Cell Block Tango" (from Chicago) "Cowboy" (Kid Rock) and "Stop It, I like It" (Rick Guard) just to name a few.
Exuding the sassy cheek of a cheerleading team, the sensuality of the classic burlesque diva or the outrageous fun of a Vegas showgirl, the Foxy Follies can add sparkle, dazzle or hint of velvet and fishnet to your event. One of Melbourne’s most versatile dance groups, the Foxy Follies will also put together a tailor made routine for your particular theme/event.
Tap Patrol’s tap dance performance troupe “Tap Pack” is a group of professional, semi-professional and dedicated dancers who perform a broad range of tap dance routines and styles. Including rhythm based acapella, traditional jazz and swing numbers, through to modern pop and rock, all Tap Pack routines can be tailored for your specific event or function and are performed with great humour, heart. We guarantee to bring a smile to your face and get your own feet tapping!
Our dancers can perform a choreographed show or with notice we can tailor something to suit your special event needs. We can provide a single couple, or up to 40 dancers, as your gig requires.
