Frankston Jitterbug Championships - This Thursday

Scott is back this Thursday and it will be one of the final classes before the big Australian Jitterbug Championships this Saturday.  With two of our most popular 7.30pm dancers competing we will have a special format this week as follows:

6.30pm Beginner class
7.30pm Eight Beat L2 class...but in a competition format. **
8.30pm L3 Charleston - it's not just a beginner step!

** the 7.30pm will be great for all those who want to understand musicality better and get a feel for what the brave competitors will go thru on the following Saturday. It will be great for your dancing and we will have chocolates for prizes. Nothing too serious...but come and be the original Frankston Jitterbug Champion.

(Remember Erin is competing also on the Saturday night...)

Level 1
Charleston
Ironing board
3 x jig walks (one set up, one set back)
4 x single jigs (changing sides)
2 x jigs with big kick
Bust out
 
 
Level 2
Changing partners warm up (Swingout, basic, circle tuck turn)
 
Then built up:
 
Basic
Dean Collins cuddle
Tuck turn
Mini dip
 
Swingout
Circule
Pop turn
Mini dip
 
 
Level 3
Basic to 2 hands
Dean Collins cuddle 
Tuck turn with kick ball change on start
Cross lead into basket
Double overhead turn
Left turn to Swingout exit.
