Just a reminder that classes are on as usual through the Easter week. Wendesday has never been an Easter Holiday so we just go straight through.

1. Shave For A Cure ? thanks!
You will notice that Kathryn has undergone quite an extreme haircut over the last few days (and it wasn?t because it was so damn hot!) Kathryn participated in the Shave for a Cure day last Friday to raise money for leukaemia research.
She wants to thank everyone who donated money and supported this cause last week.

2. Class topics for this week:

- Level 3: Moves, moves and more moves! Come and join the move-ment?
- Level 2: Cool moves, and some air time ? earn your Top Gun wings
- Level 1: Moving to the (6)beat ? continuing on with the awesome moves that go with 6 beat.

3. Class Payment
Our lovely door ladies, Lesley (and Fairlie) are lovers of shrapnel! Well, we don't want all your 5c pieces, but if you happen to have the correct change or some of the payment in small change, it will help them out a lot when you are paying at the door. We understand that this isn't always possible, and that is perfectly fine. It just helps to have some small change available!

The Swing Patrol website is chock a block full of information about the swing dancing scene. Go through to the site and have a look around at some upcoming events, links to clips of swing dancing (old and new), class timetables, workshops, teacher profiles?.I could go on?but I won?t?so click on the link and take a look for yourself!

5. Clip of the week
Every week we will try and bring you links to our favourite dancing clips, info on any cool swing music we find and so on. This week we bring to you one of the most famous swing dancing clips of all time. It comes from the
1941 film ?Hellzapoppin? which features one of the greatest dancers of all time ? Frankie Manning (he?s the one in the overalls who gets kicked in the bum!). The pace is fast, the moves are killer and the inspiration is sky high. Please enjoy this most awesome clip!

6. Legends of the week
The familiar faces of our beginners ? it is great to see you coming back each week, and you are all doing so well! Keep it up.
